The Disney Dining Plan is a very popular addition to a Walt Disney World vacation. The prepaid plan gives the guests a set amount of entitlements that they can use across property on a variety of options. With over 100 different options to chose from, it can be overwhelming to decide on what to eat. This list is far from comprehensive, but highlights some of the best options & uses of the Dining Plan entitlements.
Funnel Cake from Epic Eats at Disney’s Hollywood Studios
This one snack credit item is easily sharable and there are often unique/seasonal flavors you can try. Tip: grab one on your way into the Indiana Jones Stunt Show!
Food from Epcot Festival Booths
Epcot has a variety of festivals year round that offer unique food items. Many of those items qualify as a snack credit! Tip: check out menus beforehand to plan which items you’d like to use credits for.
Satu’li Canteen AND Flame Tree Barbecue at Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Easily some of the best options for your quick service dining credits are located at these two restaurants. Both offer robust menus with high quality foods & portions that will easily fill you up for your theme park adventures! Tip: adults 21+ are able to get an alcoholic beverage with their meals, even the quick service ones!
Captain Cook’s at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort
Taking a break from the Magic Kingdom to grab lunch or dinner at this spot is always a great decision. The menu includes such fare as the Pulled Pork Nachos and Thai Coconut Meatballs. Relax as the soft Polynesian music plays while you enjoy your meal. Tip: if you’re going to get meals at any resort quick service, pack your Refillable Drink Mug (included with the dining plan) to use.
Garden Grill Character Dining at Epcot
Enjoy a family style meal at this revolving restaurant located in the Land Pavilion at Epcot. Mickey, Chip, Dale, and Pluto will come to your table to greet & interact with you at this laid back character dining. Unlike some of the other character dining options, this is only one table service credit. Tip: many character dining options are buffets which can sometimes be chaotic. Family style (served to your table, no need to get up) are a nice alternative & allow for a more relaxed experience.
The BOATHOUSE Restaurant at Disney Springs
If you are looking to have a more upscale meal, you can use two table service dining credits at this popular Disney Springs establishment. The menu is robust and filled with freshly made entrees that are certain to scratch that gourmet itch. Tip: picking a two credit table service is a nice way to make sure you are using all your credits, but also giving yourself a break from trying to do a table service every day of your trip!
With something for everyone, the Disney Dining Plan is a great way to enjoy yourself without the worry of out of pocket costs! The best part about it is that you can customize so that it works best for you and your family.
